SIM takes initial incident reports from any source, including Police operations rooms, CCTV teams, and community safety team members.
Stakeholders are alerted via text and email with live incident details, maps, cordons and other information relevant to response decisions.
Incident Response Management
If a response is required, a protocol specific to the type of incident can be launched. The system automatically informs team members via email and text of what they need to do and when. Protocols can be set up in advance, for example, responses for VAWG incidents, domestic violence, gang-related incidents, etc.
Incident managers are kept informed of their team's progress.
Briefing Note System
Briefing notes allow the response team to share vital incident, victim and perpetrator knowledge to ensure everyone is briefed and can make informed decisions. The system is GDPR compliant.
